Borrowdale Summer visit

Having spent many a good day in Borrowdale last Autumn where I made my series of Fern Obsession images that feature in my latest Lake District Landscape Photography Book – Capture Lakeland Volume 2. I was keen to revise this are in summer and refamilurise myself with this place in time for Autumn. Today was as most summer shoots are, simply an exercise in stretching my vision and my legs, keeping my photographic eye active and enjoying the process of seeing what I see. Here are several images made from the area around the Bowderstone National Trust Car Park in the Borrowdale Valley.
