Skelwith Fold in hope of light

If you have followed my blog for a while you will realise this scene below is my go to location. It’s a 2 minute walk from my front door and a place I repeatedly visit and admire. Tonight I made a quick visit in hope of some inspiring light to illuminate one of my favourite scenes. Not all Landscape Photography shoots are about breaking yourself physically to get somewhere for 10 minutes in the hope of good light. Sometimes I like to sit and watch and I also believe a good photograph can be made anywhere, of course it helps if there are elements to work with, to compose so to speak but Landscape Photography is what you make it and tonight this is what I made…

All of the Lake District Landscapes showcased here on my blog are available as Archival Quality Framed Prints. Please contact me for details….
