Landscape Photography – Scouting in Borrowdale

A very wet and windy day today in the Lake District, typically these are days better spent indoors, however, there is always a chance something will jump out and present a perfect moment to create a Landscape Photograph.

Also, it’s worthwhile investing time in scouting locations for better days, as the best light of the day is so quick to pass it’s worth “banking’ locations to memory for the times when the weather is just right.

An interesting point that, weather. I will discuss this in-depth in a later blog post but for now here are some wet and windy iPhone images made whilst scouting Landscape Photography locations around Surprise View and Ashness Bridge above The Borrowdale Valley here in the Lake District.

Framed prints of all the images showcased on my blog are available to purchase. Contact me for details…
