Beautiful Evening light over Grasmere, the perfect conditions to capture inspiring Photography Prints here in the Lake District. I am much more of a fan of warm evening light than I am of the light in the morning. There’s something about the warm glow of the late afternoon sun that really appeals to me.
Prints should be warm and inviting, inspiring and capture a moment that you want to revisit over and over again. A moment you’d happily sit and watch time and time again. These conditions don’t often stay for long so it pays to be in position and ready to capture the best few minutes of whatever light you are lucky to witness.
Here is a series of photographs I captured over Grasmere of the best time of the day where the light is golden.

A beautiful scene

The Daffodil hotel over Grasmere and below the higher fells. You can buy a print of this image here in my online gallery.

As the sun set lower in the sky the focus shifted on to the East side of Grasmere as the higher fells were illuminated by the last of the days light. You can buy a print of this image here in my online gallery.
