One of my favourite locations for Landscape Photography of Coniston Water is Monk Coniston. I visit frequently with the intention of making Landscape Photography Prints over Coniston Water towards Coniston Old Man.
I like the convenience of the location and the sweeping view over Coniston Water up to Coniston Old Man. Best shot in the morning as the sun rises to the left in front of this scene, illuminating the Old Man of Coniston. Although you can often catch good Sunsets from here too as well as some great colours after sunset.
Todays shots were captured a little later than I would have liked due to stopping at Tarn Hows on the way over Hawkshead Hill.
