Ullswater, some say, is the most beautiful part of the Lake District. This is a favourite view of mine. I first took this picture many years ago and have subsequently visited this spot many times to capture the scene at various times of year and in different weather conditions.

The view over Buttermere from Warnscale Bothy. Situated at Warnscale Top on the ascent to Haystacks in the English Lake District. The Hut was built in about 1860.
