Beatrix Potter bought the Tarns in 1929 and then sold the half containing Tarn Hows to the National Trust. A beautiful winter scene featuring a snow capped Wetherlam over Yewdale Farm as seen from near Tarn Hows, 2 miles north east of Coniston, Lake District. Such a peaceful vast scene, one I imagine hasn't changed in generations.
