The Glenfinnan monument. Harry Potter territory. This is as far North as we came on this trip. We were hoping to get the Skye but it takes ages on these roads, especially when you’re stopping every 5 minutes to take photos of the glorious scenery Scotland has to offer.

Queen Elizabeth Forest Park is a wonderful area to the East of Loch Lomond. We took a drive from Luss to Aberfoyle and through the Park. Stopping at Loch Venachar and Loch Lubnaig as seen below.

What a first visit to this wonderful part of the UK. 28 degrees all week. Next time to Skye……
