Rays illuminate the Langdale Pikes. Beautiful. I will never tire of this view. Thanks for looking.

A classic Lakeland Scene on a hazy summers evening from the beautiful Loughrigg Tarn looking over to The Langdale Pikes.

Following on from my previous print of the week, here’s the magnificent view from the top of Pavey Ark. The full length of the Langdale Valley is on view here

A low winters afternoon sun illuminates part of the Langdale Pikes before it dips below Crinkle Crags and leaves the valley.

The Langdale Pikes are a collection of 3 Summits in the centre of the Langdale Valley in the Lake District. Made up of Harrison Stickle, Pavey Ark and Pike o Blisco they have a distinctive classic Lakeland appearance. Once your familiar with the Langdale Pikes you’ll notice them from various locations. You can even see them from the M6 approaching Cumbria on a clear day.

Lingmoor My latest Lake District Photographs are from just up the road from Elterwater, my last location. Langdale is regarded as one of the most beautiful locations in the Lakes
