A morning dedicated to Landscape Photography, regardless of the weather I was going out. I felt ok and needed to get out and do something. I headed to Thirlmere to just wander around. This time the east side of the Lake, an area I haven’t visited all that much. It didn’t disappoint, the late Autumn colours adding some real pop to some of these images.

Almost like a Turner painting. I am very happy with these images over Thirlmere.

Various compositions.

I love this…

… and this…

…and this…

to think I could have been sat in at home sulking, instead I went out and what i captured in this series of images above are something I would never visualise. I find photography so rewarding.

I will print a large copy of one of the images for my wall at home.

Glorious colours

A very simple composition but one I find extremely appealing. Going forward I am going to try and focus more on details like this.

I really like this composition. Simple but interesting.

Various colour treatments reveal quite different images.

Offsetting the main subject or feature of an image to one side makes for a stronger composition.
