Waiting on the Wind

Following on from my previous visit to Thirlmere I returned in the hope of more yellow and brown on the branches. I wasn’t disappointed but the Wind had other ideas than to make my shoot today straight forward. My intention here was to take a long exposure shot freeing the water in the stream below but freezing the leaves suspended above. They say don’t work with Kids or Animals, you try telling the wind to stop blowing. Ah such is life hey and here is a small selection of the MANY images I captured here in the hope of getting just one that matched the vision in my mind…
