Loughrigg Morning Shoot

I’m good at failing miserably in getting out for morning shoots. 2015 has been a challenge for me with my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). I woke up in the usual dizzy haze and made my way to the front door to see what I’m missing out on. On days like these part of me wishes it were raining, grey and miserable. Not today though. It’s hard at times. The feelings of missing out, not being out there is tough.

However I’m very lucky I one sense, in less than 20 steps from my bed I have this wonderful view to admire.

Loughrigg above the Mist.

The Green of Summer is slowly becoming the Orange of Autumn.

As I stood taking these shots I saw this little fellow in the corner to my eye, luckily I had time to catch this shot.

There are lots of Rabbit round here. The Squirrel chased this one for a second…

… and then he came back, totally unaware or not bothered I was stood about 2 meters away..

…he went ahead and burried his Nut…

… deep by the looks of it.

… All done…

… a quick exit…

Shame a woodpecker didn’t fly underneath at this point… Would be great for exposure and web traffic…

I’ve not had this lens all that long and already I’m capturing scenes I would have been able to otherwise. Like last night’s wildlife encounter.

…and details like this.

…and all with my pyjamas on.
