Last Light from Tarn Hows Shoot

My preference of shooting Landscapes here in the Lake District on an evening lead me to Tarn Hows, I was hoping to capture the last of the light on the surrounding fells with the heigh advantage of the Scott Memorial above Tarn Hows. Here’s what happened…

The Langdale Pikes illuminated by fantastic light….

I was drawn to the layers of light in this composition. Fantastic. Dark silhouettes in the foreground to Brilliant light on the Langdale Pikes.

Im really pleased with this image.

A much wider perspective.

This shot is why I love Landscapes in the evening.

I am extremely proud of these images. You can see more of my Lake District Prints from Tarn Hows and the surrounding area here.
