I like revisiting certain viewpoints throughout the year and having my base in the South Lakes it is hard to avoid the Langdale Pikes when you are taking in a far reaching vista. The Langdale Pikes Landscape Photography Print I managed to capture here today are a little different from my previous efforts as they contain a little snow on the top of the fells.
Just a short stroll from my base it’s great to get out and feels good to be capturing such beautiful scenes again. I am proud of my first Langdale Pikes Landscape Photography Prints of the year. So much so I’ve made a few of these images available as framed prints in my gallery. Links follow below each image.
Here are my new Langdale Pikes Landscape Photography Print from today.

With this image I wanted to centre the smaller more camouflage building in the centre of the frame. I’m sure that house is of a grand size and certainly looks well placed with its clear front aspect looking forwards back at me. The Scale of the Langdale Pikes behind really comes to life with this shot

Again the smaller more camouflage building in the centre of the frame but with more of the surrounding landscape. The Scale of the Langdale Pikes behind really comes to life with this shot. Prints of this area are available here.

A 2:1 crop gives a little more foreground and Sky. A print of this image is available here.

A wider Panoramic print showing the two buildings in the foreground adding scale to these impressive fells.

I really like this portrait version, taken from a little lower down the element of the fields in the foreground and the buildings in the centre with the rising smoke serve to add another sense of scale to this beautiful location. Prints of this image are available here.
