Castlerigg Stone Circle in winter

Castlerigg Stone Circle Shoot

Castlerigg Stone Circle in the northern Lake District is a collection of 38 stones approximately 30m in diameter. Inside the circle is a further 10 stones creating a rectangle. Castlerigg Stone Circle was probably built around 3,000BC.
