Many say Ullswater is the most beautiful body of water in the Lake District. It’s certainly a popular location with tourists and Landscape Photographers who love the Lake District alike. On a recent visit to the Glenridding Gallery I took the opportunity to spend some time around Ullswater on a beautiful early spring afternoon. Here’s is a selection of the Photographs I captured.

Looking over Ullswater with Wall Holm Island in the centre of the image.

In the other direction Silver Point on the corner of the Dog Leg so to speak.

A couple fo Canoeist land up. You can see this on the video I captured during this shoot.

A fully boarded Lady of The Lake from Ullswater Steamers cruising by with the high fells as a dramatic backdrop.

The Lady of the Lake Passing Wall Holm Island.

A close up of Wall Holm Island.

The start of Autumn.

Silver Point and the canoes.

A beautiful shot over Ullswater. I’d love a paddle in that boat.

Place Fell in the afternoon light.

Great Light illuminates Hart Crag and the Whales Back as I call it.
You can see a selection of my Ullswater Landscapes that I’ve made available for Framed prints here.
