Troutbeck Hut Shoot

The old derelict Hut above the Troutbeck Valley has such an amazing vantage point above this wild and unspoilt valley. A location I have visited several times before at various time of year. However I feel this is probably my most successful visit in terms of what I managed to capture.

Hart Crag above Brotherswater as I start to climb the Kirkstone Pass from Ullswater.

High on the Kirkstone Pass looking back over Brothers Water.

Looking down towards Windermere form the Kirkstone Pass.

The Derelict Shepherd hut above the Troutbeck Valley. An exercise in composition to follow.

The Troutbeck Valley with The Tongue, foreground right with Yoke above, Ill Bell (ironic) Froswick, High Street (No Costa here), Stony Cove Pike and according to the OS Map, John Bell’s Banner???

A beautiful Vista up the Troutbeck Valley

A stitched Panorama showing context of the surrounding Landscape

John Bell’ Banner, I wonder what that’s all about…..

I’ve put together a collection of my Lake District Landscape Photographs that are now available for purchase as Gallery quality framed prints here.
