Returning to a location again and again is quite often the reality of producing successful Landscape Photographs. Sure you can compose a scene and press the shutter but that’s only half of it. The biggest factor to successful landscape photography in my opinion is the message the photographer is trying to communicate and quite often that is influenced by the weather. That is subjective and can be argued for and against. It comes down to context.
What is the meaning of the photograph. What mood is the photographer trying to communicate. For me 99% of the time I’m trying to communicate inspirational Lake District Landscape photographs that inspire people to remember and re-live precious memories from this beautiful part of the world that has captured the hearts of so many. Mine included. So here is my second visit in so many days to see how things looked at the end of the day. Will this reveal the mood I’m after for this image….
