Isthmus Bay on Derwentwater Evening Shoot

Tonight as I headed back from Buttermere I fancied dropping in to the Northern tip of Derwentwater. Typically I have spent most of my time in the Borrowdale areas further down Derwentwater but as I was passing I thought it would be good to have a short walk from the Theatre by the Lake down to Isthmus Bay as the Sunset beyond the Western Fells.

A quick wander against the setting sun around the Yatch Club revealed a few interesting view points, unfortunately the sunset didn’t catch on as I’d of hoped but I managed to increase my knowledge of this area and make visual records of what I saw for future outings with my camera.
