The famous Westmorland Cairn on the southern edge of the iconic Great Gable.
A fine view down to Wasdale from the southern side of Great Gable. Wasdale and Wastwater are clearly bathed in sunlight in the foreground and you can see the Irish sea and the Isle of Man in the distance to the right above Seatallen.
Wastwater, the deepest Lake in the Lake District and quite possibly one of the most interesting, the view here is looking north down the length of the Lake with Wasdale Head in the distance.
A small Jetty on the shores of Windermere, the area is known as Millerground Landing. The shore is accessible via a short walk from the main road. There’s a small boat house is next to this jetty, which I used to use when I was into canoeing many years ago. I recall running and jumping off the end of this jetty when I was about 12 years old.

Elgol beach on the Isle of Skye looking over Loch Scavaig and the magnificent Black Cuillin. One of my all time favourite locations.
