My third trip to Scotland and the first long Motorbike trip.

We stayed the night at Luss again, but this time in tents, this is the Camping and Caravan Club site. Pretty good really, my first taste of camping and the new super lightweight one man tent.

My old friend on Glencoe.

Eilean Donan Castle as viewed from the North this time.

Up to Skye and the camp site at Sligachan. The opposite side of the Cullins to Elgol. Again blessed with great weather.

My third visit to Elgol. Still a great view.

What a school this must be. I bet the kids here don’t appreciate this great view.

A long exposure shot looking over to Rum and Cana. I must go there someday too.

A shot of me taken from the Harbour side.

The last day now and a ride around the North West part of the Island and then the 8 hour ride home. This was about 5:45am.

Zooming in on the menacing features of the Cuillins from Sligachan.

Heading North toward the Old Man of Storr.

There he is. Waking up. I should have been up there an hour earlier, but given the wind in the night I’m surprised I slept at all. Luckily I had my earplugs I use when riding the bike.

Wonderful geography all around the Island.

This is Uig and the location to catch the ferry to the Outer Hebrides. I hope to be on that boat in the coming years.

The Quiraing, Alpine riding in miniature.

Back to Sligachan to pack the tent and head South.

Locals on Glencoe.
