Ullswater Golden Hour

It dawned on me recently that I haven’t taken many Landscape Photographs of Ullswater for too long. So, today I was visiting the Gallery at Glenridding and stocking my new Book Capture Lakeland Volume Two to the outdoor shop Catstycam which gave me the perfect opportunity to hang around and see how the day unfolded over Ullswater.

I decided to visit the same location I visit visited back in 2004 where I made this image below. This is the first Landscape Photography Print of the Lake District I sold all those years ago. The tree itself is looking a bit worse for wear so I decided to focus my attention on the last light of the day on the distant fells over Ullswater.

Here’s how I got on.

All of the Lake District Landscapes showcased here on my blog are available as Archival Quality Framed Prints. Please contact me for details….
