Passing Rain over Windermere

Taken from the Kirsktone Pass Inn high above Ambleside. The road in the foreground is named “The Struggle” for reasons that will become apparent should you venture that way.

For me the changing conditions over the Landscape offer many different moods and interesting scenes. What caught my eye here was the light on the foreground and the menacing rain shower passing by in the distance. It was moving quickly and within a few moments had gone. Right place at the right time. At least I wasn’t under it this time…
