Grasmere Sunset

I headed out late this evening on the off chance something would materialise and sure enough a short walk to the shore of Grasmere turned out to be really worth the effort. It feels like such a long time since I saw a decent sunset here in the Lake District let alone photographed one. Tonight was a total accident but a happy accident.

Typically I’m not a chaser of sunsets for Landscape Photography however there is no denying they do add another element of drama to an already beautiful scene. Better than the flat damp grey skies of late.

Nice to see the Ducklings dropping by too.

This Photograph is available for purchase as a framed print here on my website.
