A Misty Morning on Windermere

Misty mornings are great for us Landscape Photographers. Adding another element of intrigue and suspense to subjects that get overlooked. This morning was no exception. What was otherwise a rather flat and dull morning is transformed into an ethereal scene. A simple subject made more interesting by one element. Mist.

I shot these images from Waterhead on Windermere. A scene hundreds of people see everyday on their commute from Windermere to Ambleside. It’s just that bit more special on a misty morning. Here are 3 different formats of the same scene. Which do you like best?
