A wonderful scene up on the Fells above Elterwater and Skelwith Fold. I visited this scene several times before I got the conditions I wanted. I was inspired by watercolour scenes when making this image.

A new version of my all time favourite Landscape Photographs from the beautiful River Eskdale in the Eskdale Valley. This wonderful quiet and relaxing location is such a joy to visit, to photograph and to share. My hope for this image is that it conveys the serenity of this place to you as you admire it in your home.
