The light was beautiful this evening but as I got into position on the shores of Windermere Lake and setup I thought I may have missed the best light of the evening. Such is Landscape Photography here in the Lake District you never really know how things are going to develop until it does. As I was about to call it a night the sky illuminated and luckily I was in position and managed to capture a series of images I’m really pleased with that showcase Lake Windermere and the distant Langdale Fells in all their glory.
