I’ll be honest, I miss the Lake District, I miss the mountains, Fells and Tarns. I miss variety and having choice. Lately I’ve been heading to the Beach everyday as part of my Graded Exercise Therapy to help with my M.E. While I love visiting the Beach I’m getting a little bored. I need variety and some visual stimulus. So, today I headed out in search of something different.
This section of the Leeds to Liverpool Canal at Halsall is a place I’ve been to a couple of times before but not with a camera. Today this was as much an exercise in staying sane as it was a photographic adventure.
I’ve been experimenting with a new camera system lately. Not a replacement but an addition and today I decided I don’t have a place for it. I did a little test this morning with the Sony A7Riii, Leica M-D and Hasselblad X1D and in my opinion the Leica produces the nicest image, closely followed by the Hasselblad and I don’t like the look of the Sony images at all. So here are some images taken with my Leica M-D. The best camera I’ve ever owned and the one I get most reward from using and seeing the results.
