Golden Hour in the Lake District with Drone footage.

I had one aim for this evening and that was to fly the Drone up the River Brathay. I did this a week or so ago but for some reason the footage didn’t record so I headed out at the start of golden hour in the lake district to capture what could be a great evening for a flight.

The lights getting good, time to head out.

A hazy evening, but again different every time.

The Langdale Pikes in the distance.

Ferns blooming everywhere.

I headed down to the River Brathay to fly up River. I have done this once already but for some reason the footage didn’t record so I headed back and tonight looks better than my previous flight weather wise, here’s what I captured.

Heading back home. England. Beautiful

It’s shaping up to being a great evening already.

What a beautiful scene. It is so good to be out.

Through the trees.

The Haze is defusing the light and making for a unique looking scene of late.

The Langdale Pikes

Back in the woods as the sun lowers towards the distant Langdale Fells.

The Bench, what a night to be here.

As the sun disappeared behind the Langdale Pikes this beautiful Silhouette presents itself. Perfect.

You can see more of my Lake District Landscape Prints featuring the Langdale Fells here and from around Ambleside here.
