Early Spring Lakeland Woodland Photographs

Early spring can be a good time for woodland photography here in the Lake District. The days are shorter and the light can be nice for long spells at the start and end of each day. There are interesting colours still left over from Winter before the explosion of green as everything springs into life.

These images were made around Skelwith Bridge near Ambleside.
