Pavey Ark the Langdale Pikes Print

Pavey Ark

Pavey Ark is one of the dominating fells in the central Lake District, a sheer vertical rock face that makes up part of the Langdale Pikes. One of the most challenging climbs in the Lake District “Jack’s Rake” runs diagonally up the face and unfortunately claims several peoples lives each year. Seen here above Stickle Tarn this is a magnificent site either from the M6 or close up.
