Coniston Post Print by James Bell

Coniston Post

There are several Jetties along the Eastern shore of Coniston water in the Lake District. After a few attempts of capturing these Jetties I was looking to create something a little unique, something a little different than the usual. This particular long exposure shot blurs the water adding another dimension to the print. The planks on the Jetty leading your eye to the post and then up to Coniston Old Man. It’s one of my favourites from the area and the colours work really well with the Oak frame. What do you think?
