Yesterday I received the last Hasselblad 907x Special Edition sold worldwide by Hasselblad in Sweden. The 907x is a camera I’ve admired since the first concepts emerged a long while ago. In fact a few year previously I thought about the design of cameras and what my perfect camera would look and feel like. The 907x is as close to that concept as any camera I have ever seen. It is a truly beautiful camera in every way. So, for my first shoot, I headed to Hodge Close Quarry in the Lake District, a place I’ve been visiting since I was at school and abseiled down the enormous cliff face on to the platform below.
Here’s how I got on, I’ll maybe write more about the Hasselblad 907x in a future blog post. Especially as I have a Hasselblad 501cm which the CFVII 50c back can attach to.
