Today I met up with Thomas Heaton in the Lake District. We decided to go out and shoot some images, but rather than focus on the wider vistas, it was intimate details that we were in search of. I took Thomas to Grizedale Forrest to revisit a remote Tarn I first visited last Autumn when I was making new images for my new book Capture Lakeland Volume 2. It Was a great couple of hours exploring this wild and visually messy place. I was hoping to find some separation in the mess and compose an image of peace and calm. You can see my best efforts below. Also check out Thomas’ vlog on this link.
