Skelwith Fold Sunset (1)

Skelwith Fold Sunset

I’ve enjoyed many a fine Skelwith Fold Sunset from this location and you’d think visiting the same viewpoint over and over again would get tiresome or repetitive; however, I am always surprised with how things often do look different, not only through the seasons but also the day and largely due to the weather.

Sunset here is magnificent and what a backdrop. The Langdale Pikes, probably the most recognisable silhouette in the South Lake District if not the entire Lake District National Park.

Prints of this square image are available here and prints of the panoramic version are available here. You can see more of my prints from this area of the Lake District here.
