Ullswater, some say, is the most beautiful part of the Lake District. This is a favourite view of mine. I first took this picture many years ago and have subsequently visited this spot many times to capture the scene at various times of year and in different weather conditions.

There’s a small boat house is next to this jetty, which I used to use when I was into canoeing many years ago. I recall running and jumping off the end of this jetty when I was about 12 years old.
