The photo was captured on the 8th April 2007 whilst walking <a title=\"Haystacks walk in the Lake District\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jamesbellphotography.co.uk\/blog\/lake-district-walks\/haystacks-and-the-high-stile-ridge\">Haystacks and the High Stile Ridge<\/a> from Buttermere.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The terrain here is a testament to the industrial past from the Honister Slate mines. There are broken slates everywhere and nestled in among all that slate is this lovely remote Bothy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mine Hut below\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jamesbellphotography.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Mine-Hut-below2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Its real name is Warnscale Bothy but I termed it the Mining Hut and this particular scene below has proven to be very popular.<\/p>\n<p>A wide Angled shot over the Mining Hut with Fleetwith Pike to the Right and haystacks to the left.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jamesbellphotography.co.uk\/67-the-retreat-panorama.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jamesbellphotography.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/26-119-home1.jpg\" alt=\"Panoramic Photography from The Lake District\" width=\"940\" height=\"313\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Both of these images have had lots of interest over the last few years.
