I have admired Kings How in the Centre of the Borrowdale Valley for many years, never however I have climbed up it. Kings How looks imposing. A sheer cliff edge of Rock with a hairline of Silver Birch Trees. Well today I was determined to walk up Kings How and take in the wonderful views it offers both up and down the Borrowdale Valley. I don’t have any Framed Prints form Kings How so today was a chance to add some new images to my range of framed Lake District Prints.<\/p>

I didn’t make any images from the walk up, focusing on my breathing and staying upright, it was very wet and slippery, also there isn’t much of a view heading up as there are trees everywhere restricting the view. There is a wonderful view over Derwentwater form higher up on Kings How. Continuing up Kings How you are rewarded with a wonderful view in both directions. This is the view looking South featuring the high fell of Great End and Scafell Pike. As you can see form the image below its a bit flat in terms of lighting…<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

However, as you can see on the image below I was treated to a few moments of wonderful light breaking through the clouds, it really makes all the difference when the Landscape is illuminated like this.
