However, it just reinforces my believe that this is the most beautiful place I have ever been and already I&#8217;m excited at the prospect of returning. Today was just about getting home, with a full day of travel ahead of us we made good progress and left Skye around 10am. I was keen to take a short detour on the way home to the small and beautiful harbour village of Plockton. I haven&#8217;t visited Plockton before and I&#8217;m keen to explore this part of Scotland up to Ullapool in future trips.
