The last hour or so of the day is my favourite time of day for making Landscape Photography Prints of the Lake District. I love the quality of the light, the warm glow and long shadows across the Landscape. Everything looks warm and inviting which appeals to me.\u00a0Lake District Golden Hour Landscape Photography Prints are what I seem to have defaulted to capturing in recent times.<\/p>\n

Over the last couple of years I have come to love this particular view over to the Langdale Pikes and in the warmer months of the year the sun sets almost directly behind the iconic Lake District silhouette of the Langdale Pikes.<\/a><\/p>\n

As regular readers of my blog will know I have had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome since summer 2013 and since then long walks and high hikes have been almost impossible. It’s taken some adjustment and a change in my expectations as to what and where I can shoot Landscapes in the Lake District. These local views, this one being a 2 minute walk from my front door have become my focus in recent times. You’d think you’d get bored of visiting the same place over and over again, but on nights like this I find it quite rewarding. Its surprising how the same view can and does look very different with just subtle differences in the weather.<\/p>\n

Here’s how I got on this late May evening looking over towards the Langdale Pikes<\/a>.<\/p>\n
