My final day on Skye, its always a sad day to be leaving this beautiful place. However, it just reinforces my believe that this is the most beautiful place I have ever been and already I’m excited at the prospect of returning. Today was just about getting home, with a full day of travel ahead of us we made good progress and left Skye around 10am. I was keen to take a short detour on the way home to the small and beautiful harbour village of Plockton. I haven’t visited Plockton before and I’m keen to explore this part of Scotland up to Ullapool in future trips. Here’s how the last day turned out and thanks for viewing my April 2017 series on Skye.
