The full length of the Langdale Valley is on view here and you can appreciate the true scale of the place. Lingmoor Fell opposite and Blea Tarn below. Windermere can be seen in the distance and the Coniston Fells.

One of the most challenging climbs in the Lake District “Jack’s Rake” runs diagonally up the face and unfortunately claims several peoples lives each year. Seen here above Stickle Tarn this is a magnificent site either from the M6 or close up.
