Thank you Sarah. Yes you can start from Pelter Bridge and walk different ways going out and coming back. If you head to the cave along the main path and back via the waters edge and the woods it's about 1 hour I'd say. I hope you enjoy your trip and the weather is kind.

I love this! Found by chance as I'm heading up with my two (older saplings) on Friday for a week and haven't walked to the caves before. From your starting point is it a circular walk, and how long roughly would it take?

Thanks Chris. This walk was on the day I got my iPhone 5. So some of the square pics are taken with that and processed in Instagram. The regular (rectangular shots) are from my Canon 5D Mk2. I mainly use a 24-105mm as my walk around lens. Although lately I have been using a 50mm fixed lens as this is much lighter and makes you work the composition more as there is no zoom.

Thanks for posting.

Another nice read and great pictures, you couldn't ask for better surroundings to bring your boys up in, do you tend to stick with your favourite couple of lenses for walks like this or just cover all bases 1 x wide 1 x tele lens?
