Foreground interest in the perfectly formed Loughrigg tarn with Loughrigg Fell behind. This was my first visit to the tarn and what a scene, so tranquil hardly a breath of wind and the mirror like tarn was beautifully contrasted against the deep greens light by the evening Autumn light. The branches at the top of the scene breaking up the perfect blue evening sky.
