Wastwater Still

Wastwater, the deepest Lake in the lake District and quiet possible one of the most interesting, the view here is looking north down the length of the lake with Wasdal Head in the distance. The tree peaks of Yewbarrow, Great Gable and Lingmell are word famous, they form the logo of the Lake District National Park Authority. To the right you can see the famous Wastwater screes. Wastwater was voted Britains Favourite view in a recent ITV television program.
