Langdale
Blea Tarn Visitors
Blea Tarn is one of The Lake Districts treasures. Its been a special place for me for many years. You can visit this tarn really easily if your not afraid of single track roads and steep hills from Langdale. Most of the time I visit I’m the only one there and it’s a magnificently peaceful and tranquil place. On this occasion two walkers were moving about close to the famous lone tree. Rather than wait for them to disappear I took a shot with them stood by the tree. I don’t usually like including people in my shots but on this occasion it adds scale to the scene and you can draw your own conclusions on what the couple are doing, what they are planning and totally unaware that they are assisting me in creating a different perspective on this tranquil scene.
