Charity Auction Success

Last night we attended the National Childbirth Trusts (NCT) Charity Ball in aid of Alder Hey Hospital’s Imagine appeal at the new Hilton Hotel in Liverpool. I donated a framed panoramic print of Anthony Gormley’s Another Place on Crosby Beach as an auction prize. The picture was very popular and a bidding war broke out, eventually selling for £240.00. I’m really pleased I can help out in some way to this great charity.

Buttermere Panorama Print

Here it is. The biggest print I’ve ever done. 90×30 inches or 7.5 x 2.5 feet or 2.2m x .75m. There’s a good story behind this print too, the lady who’s bought it for her Hall in Kendal is redecorating especially to match the colours of this image. I’m going to photograph the installation when it’s complete.
