Last night we attended the National Childbirth Trusts (NCT) Charity Ball in aid of Alder Hey Hospital’s Imagine appeal at the new Hilton Hotel in Liverpool. I donated a framed panoramic print of Anthony Gormley’s Another Place on Crosby Beach as an auction prize. The picture was very popular and a bidding war broke out, eventually selling for £240.00. I’m really pleased I can help out in some way to this great charity.

My latest Lake District Photographs are from just up the road from Elterwater, my last location. Langdale is regarded as one of the most beautiful locations in the Lakes with the Great Langdale valley and Little Langdale valley separated by Lingmoor Fell and the valley of Mickleden tucked away in the North West corner.
